I'm often asked "What should we wear?" or "Do you have any clothing suggestions?"  Being a visual person, I find it much easier to show than tell.  Here are some great seasonal combinations available through Old Navy, Gap, Piperlime.

To be a contestant, simply “Like” Esther Dorotik Photography on Facebook and then submit a recent picture of your cutie pie taken within the last 6 months to info@estherdorotik.com. What if I have two cutest kids you ask? Simple…submit one picture per child. Please include child's name and age as well as your contact information.  All entries must be received by January 8th to qualify.

How will the cutest be determined?? All entries will be uploaded to my Facebook page for your friends and loved ones to vote on. The cutie pie with the most votes will win the free session and 5x5 keepsake book. To vote for a photo, you MUST be a “Fan” AKA “Like” Esther Dorotik Photography and THEN leave a comment on your cutie’s picture. Non-fan comments will not be counted so make sure you “Like” first. The photo with the most comments wins.

All entries receive $25 off any (one) session fee in 2011!

Voting begins at midnight on January 10th and ends at midnight on January 17th. Winner will be announced no later than January 19th.

Session to be held within 2 months at my studio, Dallas Arboretum, Flower Mound Creek/Park, Grapevine Train Station, or Grapevine Botanical Garden.

Two and a half week old Baby Grayson was so precious for our session!  He woke up about half way through the session and wasn't so sure he wanted to go back to sleep.  A feeding later, he finally succumbed to a full belly and the warm space heater, which is when we got this first shot.  Have I mentioned how much I LOVE newborns...

Today turned out to be a gorgeous day for a session at the Dallas Arboretum!  I had a great time with the "A" family!  These kids are super sweet and just totally AMAZING!!

Magic Diet Pill Anyone??


Okay ladies, who hasn’t wanted to lose a few pounds at one time or another??? When it comes to looking your best in pictures, it’s all about ‘fooling” the camera. NEVER face the camera straight on. The less space your body takes up, the smaller you look so turn your body about 45 degrees. Tummies away from light--shadows are a girl’s best friend. Pull your arms slightly away from your body to prevent “the flattening ”. Relax though - don’t tense up your shoulders. Shift your weight to the back leg and slightly bend the knee closest to the camera. Pop that hip! Okay for those last 5 stubborn pounds, sit up straight. POSTURE POSTURE POSTURE! Try it in the mirror…results are GUARANTEED!!
